Cliff Hotel

Staff levels were extraordinarily high, and nothing was too much trouble. The bar and restaurant in particular, but always a friendly receptionist to ask for help. We had a 1-year old and a 3-year old (a fussy eater) in our party and so we tested the waiters’ and the kitchen staffs’ patience more than normal. They really came through with flying colours. Well done them. For the price, our rooms and the common areas such as the lounge were above expectations. We were pleased with the environment and the committed and helpful vibe.

The hotel has a commanding spot overlooking the coast. Good twin room with plenty of space. The blond receptionist who greeted us on arrival and waved us off on departure was an excellent front of house person. We ate in the restaurant and the staff in there were also particularly friendly and attentive - with a special shout out to our brunette Michelle Keegan lookalike waitress. Great breakfast the morning of our departure.

I stayed for a few days for my birthday. i had a sea view. I've had this room on several occasions. it's one of my favourite rooms, always clean and tidy.. the staff in the breakfast room are always lovely. All staff were lovely and welcoming, I truly think this hotel is a beautiful place to stay near a gorgeous beach.. hopefully be back soon..

Friendly welcome, lovely building, great views of the sea from the terrace. Great service from all staff. Sunday lunch fantastic. Easy parking. Room was very clean and comfortable with a sea view. Bar and dining areas very clean and welcoming with character features. The chef deserves a mention as all food was first class and thoroughly enjoyed. Great breakfasts too. The food was excellent and all the staff so friendly, efficient and attentive. Two members of staff deserve a big thankyou as they made our stay special. Molly on reception helped make our booking requests perfect and Maggie brightened our breakfasts with a great sense of humour. Both deserve a big thankyou and should be recognised by the management as outstanding in their customer service. THANKYOU MOLLY & MAGGIE.

Nice rooms, even though an old building, rooms have been updated.A nice comfortable bed/shower nice and powerful. It's a lovely terrace attached to restaurant which you can eat on if the weather is good, has retractable roof and heaters. We will stay again at this hotel, exceptional for a UK hotel.
